Are we Crazy..., or Genius for still trying? Still seeking? Still believing? Who are we kidding? Life would be a little boring without a little crazy. I mean, right? But the Promise held within our evolution and transformation is, now, undeniable! With a little bit of Genius, life could absolutely become a 'Dream Come True'! 🎁
For me, I want to be 'in Love' too much to ever stop playing this game of life. For you? What could it be? Maybe get away from those stressful struggles in day to day life? I was born in Oakland, Ca. We were on food stamps. And it was rouuugh! But our family was Wonderful. All love and gratitude to my amazing mom and dad. Is your dream to do your best to move out of the neighborhood, town, or city you grew up in? Experience a new financial position in life? Could it be to travel and See the World? You know there are some beautiful places, people, and FOOD out there right? 🍰 What's Your motivation? What's Your Drive? 🚚 We are moving on up, or moving on out and up! From Oakland, to Florida, to Hawaii. Who could have ever Known. I have experienced days in life when I was going to community college, working a part time job, renting a bedroom out from one of my mom's friends in Downtown Sacramento. I was 20 years old in or around the year 1999-2020. Who likes math anyway? 🤓
I took a job as a security guard for a popular cream and dairy brand. On the hour, which were only 4 unless to took a double to covered my partner's shift, I would hit the perimeter check points and check every running refrigerated tractor trailer to ensure that the freshly made ice cream didn't spoil before it was delivered to the regional markets the morning of the next day.
Ice cream; a delicate treat we add to our lives to experience a sense of joy... if only for a moment. A ration of festivity, happiness, union, playfulness, and laughter. And for some, a resource to sooth our soulful pain, dry our tears, and dampen our experiences of loneliness. 🍦In all cases, this delicacy marks times within human lives which are never to be forgotten.
On this day, it was absolutely beautiful. The sky was blue. The weather was pleasantly warm. Yet I was still delighted that the AC was working in the small one body glass shack which sat just off the sidewalk near the entry of where the rubber would meet the road to carry these sweet delights to the world.
It became a habit of mine to look up at the sky and... 'Dream & Imagine'. I would effortlessly become fixated on the planes that passed through the sky. Talk about having my head in the clouds.🌤 I was already gone. I was already out of there.
I'd imaging an experience of life to be able to travel. To see the world looking down. To be able to be free. Free to experience, taste, touch, and smell all of what this world has to offer. I would only break by gaze away from these birds in the sky to reposition by butt on the stool as being 6'4" I was nearly impossible to fold myself up in the shack and close the sliding door. Oh, and the smell. How could I forget the smell of human utility trapped within a glass enclosure with the occasional breeze of rotting milk and cream on the baking asphalt which managed to escape its travels toward marking the moments of happiness in people's lives.
I'd stare at the sky, capture a plane🛩, and ironically dream that I myself would one day travel the world and rest in Hawaii. So this too has come true. Though, once we arrive... the rewards are infinite. ♾
Our human evolution and transformation can travel us far around this world and beyond. While we are on these journeys, we can surely be viewed as Crazy. But what I like to say is 'Crazy... or Genius'. I think that if you made it here, You are GENIUS!
